How to Grow Coriander? Tips & Tricks

Basic planting guide from Wan Ying of Little Urban Oasis (coriander photo from Wan Ying):

  • Sprout: 3 to 4 weeks (for faster germination, you can wrap the seeds in newspaper, roll the newspaper with a bottle to crash the seeds, open and plant)
  • Sun: slight shade is good
  • Water: top spray for seedling stage and once transplanted, root zone watering is good
  • Transplant seedings in a group of 2 to 3 is better so that they can support each other
  • Soil: well-drained soil (soil: compost: sand = 50:30:20)
  • Days to maturity from seeds: about 2 months
  • Harvest: pinch from side and let it grow
